Quote of the Day

Irony watch:

Pres. Bush on the missing explosives: "This investigation is important and it's ongoing, and a political candidate who jumps to conclusions without knowing the facts is not a person you want as your commander in chief." (10/27)

Good thing this president doesn't jump to conclusions without knowing the facts...

The worst part of his speech about the missing explosives is that he claims Kerry is denegrating our troops. Kerry isn't putting the blame on the troops, he is putting the blame on the President. Bush is the one who leaves the buck with the troops. He even tried to pin the "Mission Accomplished" sign on the soldiers on the USS Abraham Licoln.

He blamed the military commanders for inadaquate troop levels and equipment woes, even though those commanders when pressed did complain to their commander-in-chief that they needed more. What happened to those folks? Early retirement.

Six more days until a new President.
